Prepare the monthly operating report for the business unit management team comparing actual to budget with analysis.  Prepare monthly reporting package. Lead the preparation of periodic updates to the five year business plan. Provide direction and support to evaluation of strategic options - new markets, strategic initiatives, acquisitions and divestitures. Lead the development of management reporting systems for analytical purposes. Prepare budgets and forecasts of revenue and expense trends. Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive and management. Analyze and prepare financial reports and analysis, including variance and projections. Prepare data for presentation and inclusion in various planning and budgeting reports.

Ideal background: MBA a plus. 3-7 Years with strong reporting and pricing skills. Hyperion & Excel.

Manage monthly close; Provide monthly and quarterly analysis of actual versus budget variances; Analyze and prepare quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year actual variances including revenue and medical costs; Lead reconciliation efforts between eligibility and capitation; Author and oversee contractual health plan financial settlements; Develop and analyze medical cost trends, core indicators, unit costs, medical cost management metrics; Develop annual business plan regarding membership, revenue, medical costs.
Ideal background: MBA with 8 plus years experience including Healthcare, Health Insurance or Big 4 with Healthcare clients. Familiarity with Hyperion Essbase and Planning is highly preferred.
