Meet Our Team

After graduating from Temple University, Pat began his career with Deloitte and Touche. He also worked for the Penn Central Corporation as an Accounting Manager in their Real Estate Operations and later became Assistant Treasurer for a subsidiary of Verizon Corporation. Before co-founding Gateway Search Associates, Pat was a financial recruiter with a national search firm. Pat has served as President and on the board of directors in both the North Penn and Valley Forge Chapters of Institute of Management Accountants. He is also a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. Pat and his wife, Jane, live in Glenside and have three children. Pat is a member of the Temple Alumni’s Russell Conwell Society as well as a member of the Temple Owls athletic association. He is a former player (also Past President) and now supporter of Blackthorn Ruby Football Club.

Marlene brings over 11 years of experience to both Gateway Search Associates and GSA Financial Staffing. She manages all the administrative functions of the office to ensure that it runs efficiently. Marlene also keeps Gateway's fans and followers up to date on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Prior to joining Gateway Search in 2000, Marlene was employed by The American Red Cross as a Coordinator for blood donations at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She resides in Berks County with her husband and son.

Mike began his career with Gateway Search Associates in 2002 as an Intern. He has been a successful accounting and financial recruiter in the Philadelphia marketplace since 2003 when he joined Gateway full time. Prior to his recruiting career, Mike was an Accounting/Finance student at West Chester University. Mike develops strong relationships with both clients and candidates to ensure a successful match of employer needs to candidate strengths. His hobbies include: working out, playing basketball, socializing, and live music.

Michael has 6+ years of experience recruiting Accounting, Finance, Tax and Audit professionals. Michael’s genuine enthusiasm and commitment to his specialization has allowed him to create dynamic relationships industry wide. He is well networked and dedicated to providing a quality service to clients, candidates and his colleagues. Michael holds a Bachelors of Science in Finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. He currently resides in West Chester with his wife and son.

Kelly began her career as a Corporate Tax Associate at Deloitte before she became a Recruiter with Gateway Search Associates in 2004. Kelly has consistently delivered superior results to her clients and candidates in a timely manner, while building relationships with new clients. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Accounting from Widener University, as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from the University of Delaware. In addition to recruitment, Kelly also participates in various career counseling related functions. She lives in Philadelphia and her passions include food and music.
